COMPETITIVE INTEGRATED EMPLOYMENT (CIE)
Gloria is currently employed at Walmart. She was hired on February 15, 2020 as a Greeter with her job description being to greet each customer as they enter the store and provide directions or information to ensure they can find the products they are looking for. She was promoted to become a Health Ambassador and has earned "Employee of the Month" on two different occasions. Also, she is one of our Downey Clients! :)
COMPETITIVE INTEGRATED EMPLOYMENT (CIE)
Andrew is currently employed at KFC. He was hired as a cashier with his job description being to receiving payments & issuing receipts, keeping track of all cash & credit transactions, unloading inventory and maintaining a clean dining area. He has become successful in this role due to his unmatched customer service and willingness to go above and beyond to memorize the menu and address all of his customers with kindness and respect. Also, he is one of our Downey Clients! :)
PAID INTERNSHIP PROGRAM (PIP)
Yamilee is currently employed at MOXLA. She was hired on January 26, 2023 as a Sales Associate with her job description being to greet each customer, work on the cash register, stock supplies on the shelf and assist the make up artists with makeovers for clients. The company is very pleased with her work that they would like to officially hire her once her PIP is complete. Also, she is one of our Chino Clients! :)
PAID INTERNSHIP PROGRAM (PIP)
Noble is currently employed at Goldstar Enterprises. He was hired as a Custodian with his job description being to maintain the cleanliness of the parking lot by picking up trash & disposing of it in appropriate garbage containers, clean the glass door entrance, dust common areas, sweep, mop, vacuum the floors, clean the restrooms, counter tops & sinks, remove trash from the restrooms, disinfects & sanitizes elevators, sanitize handrails, wipe & disinfect the common areas of the buildings, clean all the floor tiles & carpet, walls & baseboards and clean the stairs. The company is very pleased with his work and hopefully will hire him when his PIP is complete. Also, he is one of our Downey clients! :)
